Title: Major flavonoids composition and its content in rough-peel mandarin peel.
Abstract: For the development and utilization of rough-peel mandarin,according to rough-peel mandarin peel for green peel,partially yellowing peel and fully yellow peel three maturation phases,the immature period,the not fully mature period and fully mature period divided into,the major flavonoids composition and its content in different maturity periods were studied using high performance liquid chromatography,in comparison with Citrus reticulata cv.Unshiu,Citrus sinensis cv.Hamlin and Citrus maxima cv.Shatianyu.The results showed that the content of neohesperidin,naringin,hesperidin increased and then decreased during the three periods.when the rough-peel mandarin peel was partially peel,the content of major flavonoids reached the maximum and contents of neohesperidin,naringin,hesperidin were 15.53,1.60,0.86 mg/g(DW) respectively.Every major flavonoid was neohesperidin in the three periods.However,neohesperidin was not detectable in the peels of Citrus reticulata cv.Unshiu,Citrus sinensis cv.Hamlin and Citrus maxima cv.Shatianyu.
