It explains the external and the microstructure and internal struct...This chapter examines the function of the human prefrontal (PF) cortex in the generation of goals from imagination and instructions. It explains the external and the microstructure and internal structure interconnections of the PF cortex, the function of the Broca's area and dorsal paracingulate cortex and the role of the PF cortex in the performance of cognitive tasks such as associative learning, reasoning, and monitoring of intentions and outcomes. It also suggests that the human prefrontal cortex further reduces errors because people can engage in mental trial-and-error behavior prior to any action and because people can learn from instruction or imitation.Read More
