Title: Community College Service-Learning Programs: The Well-Traveled Path to Civic Engagement
Abstract: How does service-learning impact civic engagement in community college students? To what extent is it mediated by multiple service-learning experiences? In what, if any, areas of civic engagement are these impacts most profound? In order to investigate these three research questions, surveys measuring civic engagement levels were developed and administered to community college students who participated in service-learning and those who did not.
