Abstract: The written business plan serves many functions, both internally and externally, as we discussed in Chapter 2. It includes much of the material and knowledge acquired during the information gathering stages, integrating it all into a working plan. The presentation level of the material is extremely important. The business plan must be concise enough to be easily read, yet thorough enough to tackle all the essential questions. The presentation must be clear and visually appealing.A well-presented business plan will help open doors. A badly presented one may result in a missed opportunity, even if the project is a good one.For these reasons, it is vital to make a great business plan a top priority. This chapter will describe the process of writing the business plan, and its structure.
