Title: Religious Remnants in the Composition of the United Kingdom Parliament
Abstract: The most powerful lawmaking body in the United Kingdom is Parliament, which can make or unmake any law within the United Kingdom jurisdictions by Act of Parliament. This chapter considers the religious elements remaining in the composition of Parliament, arguing that the current position includes a number of features which are susceptible to critique, particularly under the provisions of the European Convention on Human Rights.
