Abstract: The reconstruction of the right ventricular outflow tract in patients undergoing tetralogy Fallot repair remains a challenge. The study reporting the 20 years’ experience of the short-term and midterm outcomes with the use of the monocusp technique in 171 patients is critically discussed. Reference to alternative approaches is made for this patient population.
