Title: Design Considerations Associated with Bioretention Practices
Abstract: This paper presents the design requirements of bioretention practices. Bioretention is a stormwater management practice using a combination of retention, native terrestrial vegetation and soil conditioning. The paper will present the methodology for the sizing, and the preparation of grading and planting plans for bioretention areas. The cost of bioretention practices will also be discussed.
