The purpose of this paper is to present a sufficiently adequate documentation of the IDATAM computer program so that a prospective user of IDATAM can implement and run this program. A detailed prescription of the logic of IDATAM is not currently available. However, this paper also presents a brief overview of IDATAM. We hope that, with sufficient effort, one could use the overview and the documentation presented here, along with a copy of the IDATAM computer program, to learn to use IDATAM. This learning could be accomplished by reading the computer code, or by running IDATAM for many parametric variations, or both. IDATAM is programmed in FORTRAN, and the code is relatively straightforward.Read More
