Abstract: A series of consecutive midforceps rotations performed using purely rotational forceps is anslyzed. Leff forceps were designed to make forceps application less difficult and rotation less traumatic to mother and fetus. In many cases, rotation was done under local anesthesia and delivery was completely by traction with Simpson or outlet forceps. Cesarean section was done in 4 cases in which easy rotation and delivery were not possible.
