Title: Erythrocyte Agglutination: Red Cell Membrane Topography and the Role of Interfacial Tension
Abstract: Recent biochemical findings about the composition of the erythrocyte membrane now permit more accurate description of the surface topography of the red blood cell. The possibility that cell surface interfacial tension may play a role in red blood cell agglutination is evaluated.
