Abstract: Actinic keratoses are epidermal changes resulting from chronic ultraviolet irradiation of the skin and are regarded as premalignancies. All actinic keratoses should be treated to prevent their progression to squamous cell carcinoma. There are several therapeutic modalities, which usually are well tolerated by the patient.
