Title: [Perspectives of a function study of the TMJ with magnetic resonance imaging].
Abstract: Magnetic resonance imaging of the temporomandibular joint is usefull in the examination of the stomatognathic system. In order to visualize the components of the temporomandibular joint during dynamic jaw movement and to improve the diagnostic accuracy of temporomandibular joint disorders we present remedies for magnetic resonance imaging and discuss their possibilities and limits how you can stabilize the jaw in an interesting functional position during examination period.
