Pathological examination in one patient revealed intravascular residual foreign-body giant-cell reaction and slight chronic inflammation in the adjacent parenchyma of the brain tissue 1.5 years after embolization. The other 1 patient was treated with embolization 4.5 years ago. No pathological changes were found either in the vessels or in the brain tissue. It is indicated that chronic inflammation after embolization with cyanoacrylate disapproved several years later.Read More
