Title: Interlinking text content and historical data : "Journal de Lyon" (1715-1744) critical edition
Abstract: Le projet d’edition critique des Memoires de Leonard Michon (ou Journal de Lyon), chronique lyonnaise en 7 volumes conservee aux Musees Gadagne de Lyon, souhaite s’inscrire dans le tournant des humanites numeriques afin de mettre a profit la puissance computationnelle au sein d’un projet de recherche. Developpe en collaboration avec le Pole Histoire numerique du LARHRA (UMR 5190), ce projet vise a diffuser en ligne l’edition d’un manuscrit du XVIIIe siecle. Pour sa version numerique, la transcription du texte a ete faite selon la formalisation XML/TEI. Y sont decrits non seulement les elements structuraux du texte mais aussi les elements qui interessent plus particulierement la recherche historique, a savoir les entites nommees, les dates et les lieux. Par ailleurs, le LARHRA dispose d’un systeme d'information (symogih.org) pour centraliser de maniere collaborative et cumulative les informations historiques extraites de l'etude des sources. Il etait important de pouvoir relier ce travail d’edition et d'encodage avec les donnees biographiques, relationnelles et factuelles collectees, c'est pourquoi nous utilisons des identifiants uniques dereferencables a l’interieur meme des balises XML/TEI. De cette maniere, a l’issue du developpement du site Internet de l’edition critique (http://journal-michon.symogih.org), il sera possible de presenter aux lecteurs une version augmentee de ce texte en proposant, par exemple, les extraits de texte se rapportant a une entite nommee accompagnes des donnees historiques recueillies et eventuellement enrichies par des referentiels exterieurs. Ce poster vise a presenter un exemple d’articulation entre une edition de source en XML/TEI et son apparat critique constitue selon les methodes du projet symogih.org.
