The pathological features of the core and excision specimens were compared.Results of 35 (97%) core biopsies corresponded to those of excision biopsies. Stereotaxic core biopsy was not possible due to technical problems in 2 cases.Stereotaxic core biopsy appears to be an acceptable alternative to excision biopsy.Read More
