Title: Factors explaining variability in rice yields in a rain-fed lowland rice ecosystem in Southern Cambodia
Abstract: Highlights• Factors explaining variability in rice yields in Cambodia was investigated.• Four variables explained 39% of variance in rice yield.• The four variables are: access to FYM, farmer's SRI, hill density and SOC.• Shift from conventional practices to farmer's SRI increased rice yield by 14%.• One Mg increase in SOC ha−1 resulted in a yield increase of 80 kg ha−1.
