Title: Mo2038 A Modified ESD Approach for Tissue Exposure is Technically Feasible Prior to Endoscopic Suturing for Failed Gastric Bypass
Abstract: Weight regain after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) is correlated with dilated gastrojejunal anastomosis (GJA). Endoscopic sutured transoral outlet reduction (TORe) is a safe and effective modality for management of dilated GJA. TORe has predominantly been performed following mucosal ablation to enhance tissue healing and procedure durability. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) should provide a more thorough removal of mucosal tissue, and has not been described in conjunction with this procedure.
