Title: Primary Studies on Fermentation Conditions for Cellulase Production by Aspergillus niger
Abstract: Cellulase production was carried out by submerged fermentation with Aspergillus niger. The effects of nitrogen source, carbon source, and initial pH of medium were studied. The results showed that the optimum conditions of producing cellulose are:the temperature being 30℃,the initial pH 6.0.The highest cellulose activities were obtained using 6.0% rice straw powder as carbon source and 1% soybean meal as nitrogen source.Under the above conditions and growing 120 h,the activities of CMCase in the fermented broth are 89.2 U/mL.
