However, Xu Xue-yi retorted and corrected their views consciously. Thus, he pushed the research on the poetry of Han-Wei Dynasties, which had been done in Ming Dynasty, went further on the levels of train of thought and theory. The article is meant to comment on his perspectives on the poetic history of Han-Wei Dynasties by the emphasis on two issues. One is to criticize the historical poetic views of value, the Style School held that they revered the poems of Han Dynasty while degraded that of Wei Dynasty, the other is to construct his own sequence of the poetic history of Han- Wei Dynasties by the theory of Variation.Read More
