Title: Diagnostic value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound in focal hepatic lesions
Abstract: Objective To observe the contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) characteristics of focal hepatic lesions(FHL),and to assess the value of CEUS in qualitative diagnosis of FHL.Methods CEUS was performed on 45 patients with FHL.Coded phase inversion mode(CPI) was applied during the CEUS examination,time-intensity curve(TIC) was applied to analyze the variational characteristics of quantitative parameters in benign and malignant lesions. Results Arrival time and peak time of malignant lesion group were significantly earlier than those of benign lesion group and surrounding liver tissue(P0.05).Enhanced time of malignant lesions was significantly shorter than the benign lesions(P0.01).Enhance amplitude between the malignant group and benign group had no significant difference, but it was significantly higher than the surrounding liver tissue(P0.01).Conclusion The variational characteristics of quantitative parameters obtained from TIC in CEUS have important value in discriminating benign and malignant focal hepatic lesions.
