Title: Clinical Research of Abdominal Acupuncture Combined With Tripterygium Wilfordii in the Treatment of Post-menopause Women With Active Rheumatoid Arthritis
Abstract: Objective:To study the clinical efficacy and safety of abdominal acupuncture combined with Tripterygium wilfordii in the treatment of post-menopause women with active rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods: After being balanced by disease,age,DAS,60 cases of postmenopausal patients with active rheumatoid arthritis were divided into control group(29 cases) and treatment group(31 cases),the control group used basic medication,the treatment group used the combination treatment of abdominal acupuncture and basic medication.After 6 weeks,evaluated efficacy and adverse reactions points.Results:The 2 groups have the statistical significance in the difference of total effective rate(P 0.05),and the treatment group was excellent.Before and after the treatment,compared all the indicators,in the treatment group,Ritchie articular index(RAI),the number of swollen joints(Sw J + s),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),the general health status self-assessment(GH) through the 100 mm visual analog scale(VAS),DAS have significantly improved(P 0.05),in the control group,all the indicators except ESR also have significantly improved(P 0.05);compare the 2 groups after treatment,all the differences of indicators' improvement rate except GH have the statistical significance(P 0.05),and the treatment group was excellent.The nail fold microcirculation,one of indicators,in the treatment group,had a very obvious improvement in PU values(P 0.01).Compared the 2 groups,the accumulated points of adverse reactions : control group the treatment group,differences between the two groups has statistical significance(P0.05).Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture combined with Tripterygium wilfordii in the treatment of postmenopausal women with active rheumatoid arthritis has a clear efficacy and fewer adverse reactions,and can effectively improve the patients nail fold microcirculation.
