Title: FEASIBILITY STUDY OF INJECTING CO_2 INTO THE FRACTURED-VUGGY CARBONATE RESERVOIR IN TAHE OILFIELD
Abstract: In order to discuss the technical measures of EOR in the later stage Tahe oilfield waterflooding,CO2 flooding experiment and numerical simulation were done. The study based on the representative carbonate fractured-vuggy Unit S86 in Tahe oilfield and evaluated the feasibility of injecting CO2 into thin oil of the Tahe oilfield by means of the combination of physical simulation and numerical simulation. The HTHP PVT apparatus was utilized to study the expansivity of the Unit S86's fluid after injecting CO2 and the slim tube test was developed to ascertain the MMP between CO2 and the formation fluid.Based on the experiment analysis and the simulation, compositional model was adopted to study the gas injection numerical simulation of the Tahe oilfield, and then to compare the effect of depletion development, waterflooding,Hydrocarbon gas injection and CO2 injection development. The results showed that the thin oil' MMP of the Unit S86 in Tahe oilfield was 26.3MPa after injecting CO2,and that meaned it would be miscible under the reservoir conditions. Also the result of the numerical simulation indicated that the degree of recovery could be increased by 9.45%.
