Abstract:Objective Taking Jilin province as an example,this study aims to explore the current situation of equity in urban community health resource allocation.Methods Data concerning the situation of communit...Objective Taking Jilin province as an example,this study aims to explore the current situation of equity in urban community health resource allocation.Methods Data concerning the situation of community health resource allocation of 9 cities in Jilin were gained and sorted according to the Jilin Health Department and the Jilin Statistical Yearbook 2013.Then via calculating the 2012 Gini coefficient and Theil index of human,material and financial resources of community health service in Jilin,the equity of resource allocation was analyzed.Results The Gini coefficient of urban community health resource according to the population distribution was between 0.1254 and 0.3642,and between 0.2199 and 0.3995 according to the geographical distribution.The total Theil index of urban community health resource allocation varied between 0.0124 and 0.1181.The contribution rate of intra-regional differences was greater than that of the inter- regional differences.Conclusion The equity of urban community health resource allocation of Jilin province in 2012 is preferable,and the unfairness is mainly due to the intra- regional differences of community health resource allocation under same levels of economic development.Read More
