Title: Physical and mental nursing for postoperative pain
Abstract: Objective To study the effect of physical and mental nursing on patients suffering pain after operation.Methods 135 patients scheduled for surgery were randomly allocated to two groups.In group A,patients received regular nursing.In group B,patients received psychological nursing before and after operation in addition to the usual care.Results After physical and mental nursing,badly pain cases were greatly lower in group B than A.Patients enabled to endure postoperative pain and recovered rapidly.Conclusion Physical and mental nursing care for postoperative pain is conducive to patients' postoperative convalescence.
