The results show that the high quench temperature and long hold time promoted formation of large Martensite microstructure inducing micro quencn-cracking of the steel; the low final cooling temperature during quenching induced a high quench-stress and quench-cracking. To resolve this problem,the heatreatment process has been changed to prevent the die from quench-cracking.Read More
