Title: Implementation of Third Order High Density Two-polarity HDB3 Code Encoding and Decoding Based on EDA
Abstract: Digital baseband signal transmission plays a very important role in digital communication system.The HDB3 encoding mechanism is typically used in baseband signal encoding and decoding,which has zero DC bias by alternating voltage level and the power consumption is reduced.In this paper,the HDB3 encoding/decoding system was designed based on VHDL.The alternative voltage level was inserted into the serial code stream when there are four consecutive-zeros.The EDA development tool MAX+PLUSⅡ is utilized to carry on compiling,simulating,and verifying the performance of designed system.
