Title: Determination of Hemoglobin Content in Single Mature Red Cell in Diagnosis of Iron Deficiency in Patients with Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy
Abstract: [Objective]To explore the value of determination of hemoglobin content(CH) in single mature red cell in diagnosis of iron deficiency in patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy.[Methods]A total of 81 patients conducting radiotherapy and chemotherapy with iron deficiency and 85 healthy people were selected.Hemoglobin content in single mature red cell and multiple parameters of reticulocyte were determined simultaneously.[Results]The results showed that parameters of reticulocyte and hemoglobin content in single mature red cell were significantly changed when iron deficiency in patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, this changes were earlier than that of the parameters of mature red blood cell.[Conclusion] It is significant to diagnose iron deficiency in patients with radiotherapy and chemotherapy by using parameters measuring of hemoglobin content in single mature red cell in the clinic.
