Title: A novel equalization algorithm for high-order QAM system
Abstract: Equalizer,which can affect the whole system performance,is the necessary part of communication receiver.In this paper,a novel blind adaptive decision-feedback equalization algorithm is proposed,which can be used in high-order QAM system.The coefficients of the proposed equalizer are real so that it can be realized in engineering.The proposed algorithm can not only cancel the inter-symbol interference but also rectify the small frequency offset when the training signal is used,and its steady-state mean square error is less than that of the algorithm in reference[4].It can also rectify the small frequency offset blindly when it is used in peer to peer system in which the channel can be equivalent as Gauss additive white noise and its convergence speed is very rapid.Analysis and simulation results prove that the proposed algorithm is efficient.
