Title: The relation between age and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome
Abstract: Objective To study the relation between age and obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAHS).Methods The polysomnography was given to 667 snoring patients. The patients with OSAHS were divided into four groups (A,B,C,D) according to their age. The parameters of them were entered into analysis.Result 525 of the snoring patients were diagnosed as having OSAHS by all-night PSG.Most of them range in C group and D groups. The most times of 4% drop of nocturnal oxygen saturation was A group, but C group was last longest.Coclusion The age was related with OSAHS. Yang group of snoring patients had less severe OSAHS than the old.
