Title: Study on seismic performance of the steel frame with post-tensioned connections
Abstract: The column-beam connection is a key part in the steel frame,it's performance influences the behavior of frame structure directly under loads,especially under dynamical loads.Using rotating spring simulating post-tensioned seismic-resistant connection which is a new type column-beam connection form,using LINK10 simulating steel strands,dynamical time-history analysis of a steel frame was processed with ANSYS,arrived various responses of the structure under earthquake.Through comparing the parameters such as top-displacement,bottom shearing force and storey drift,examined the posttensioned seismic-resistant connection's influence on seismic performance of the frame structure from strength and deflection.The result shows that the frame with post-tensioned connections can reduce the internal force,make the structure become more safe and have good seismic-resistant ability.
