Title: Issues in Design Rules of a Magnetorheological Fluid Shock Absorber for Automobile
Abstract: The design rules of MR fluid damper for ChangAn mini-car have been presented and the theoretical method predicting damping force of the MR fluid damper has been established in this paper. The experimental results show that the background damping force is proportial to the piston speed and the damping force caused by application of magnetic field is independent on the piston speed.
