Title: Path analysis of resource-based economies transformation in Gansu
Abstract: Since 1980s,the Chinese economy has entered a phase of sustained growth,GDP average annual growth rate is more than 9.0%.Strong economic growth and huge market demand has injected vitality the world economic development.Although China's total amounts of resources and energy are massive,but as a developing country,the per capita resources and energy share is less than half the world average,moreover,ecological and environmental pressures is increasing,and use of resources is inefficient,recycling rate is not high.This paradox of rapid economic growth and relative lack of resources causes the serious shortage of the stock of China's resources and weak capacity of environmental.Gansu Province,northwest of China,is the typical province which has fruitful resources and weak economy.In face of the complex new situation and new requirements,explore how to change the high consumption and pollution manners of economic development into innovation and resource-based cities and regional industrial development model,to build diversified industry support mechanisms,to seek new ways of scientific development in Gansu has become the highlight task which will make Gansu become a city of resource-based sustainable development.Based on information of the resources,resource industries and resource development model,the paper summarizes the resource-based general path of economic restructuring,and analyzes and prospects the transformation of five resource-based economies in Gansu.
