Methods In a ligated and perforated cecum model of septic rat. The mortality and the level of blood PAF, serum TNF, IL-8 at different time points were observed. Results ①The level of blood PAF, serum TNF and IL-8 increased with a sig- nificant correlation between PAF and TNF/IL-8. ②After treated with PAF antagonist WEB2170, the level of blood PAF, serum TNF and IL-8 decreased with a reduced mortality rate. Conclusion The PAF antagonist WEB2170 can block the communication network of PAF with TNF or IL-8 and plays an important role in preventing MOF.Read More
