Abstract:The flow behavior of particles and fluid in radial flow moving-bed reactor with 6 center pipes of different open area and distribution forms were simulated using CFD-DEM coupling method due to their u...The flow behavior of particles and fluid in radial flow moving-bed reactor with 6 center pipes of different open area and distribution forms were simulated using CFD-DEM coupling method due to their uneven distribution.The changing characteristis of gas flow field and particle movement were analyzed.The results show that the appropriate ratio of opening hole area and import area is between 0.8 and 1.12,and the optimal ratio is 0.96.Changing the distribution of the open holes on center pipe ends can uniform the flow field and avoid the occurrence of end effect.Read More
