Title: PREDICTION OF THE CARBONIFEROUS RESERVOIR IN TAHE OILFIELD
Abstract: The Crobniferous reservoir in the Tahe oil field consists of clastic rocks of neritic littoral facies. The reservoir is characterized by te intercalation of sandstone and mudstone, and by the distribution of oil in the upper part and of water in the lower part of the Carboniferous. On the basis of inter well inversion, porosity inversion and precise calibration of log data, the internal attribution of the reservoir and the distribution of favourable reservoir were predicted. The application of 3D seismic facies.3D coherence, nonlinear prediction and adsorption prediction led to the recognition of the abundant belts of oil and gas in the favourable reservoir area.
