Title: Synthesis of tert-butyl acetate by phosphotungstic acid as catalyst loading on activated carbon
Abstract: Tert-butyl acetate was synthesized by esterification of tert-butyl alcohol and acetic anhydride in the presence of phosphotungstic acid loading on activated carbon as the catalyst.The optimal reaction conditions of the synthesis of product were obtained by orthogonal experiments.When the esterification took 10mL tertiary butyl alcohols as raw material,the optimal reaction conditions showed:reaction time 2 hours,alkyd ratio 1∶1.2,catalyst amount of 1.3%(calculated according to the total mass of the reaction system),with aqueous dosage 7mL,and the yield can be up to 62.64% with a purity of 95.985%.
