Title: Clinical observations on treatment with oral short-effective contraceptives after artificial abortion
Abstract: Objective:To observe the effect of oral contraceptive Yasmin after artificial abortion.Methods:80 cases of artificial abortion were divided into Yasmin-treated group(40 cases)and control group(40 cases).The patients in Yasmin-treated group were orally administrated with Yasmin one tablet per day for 21 days as a period and 3 periods were as a course of treatment.Then,vaginal bleeding duration after operation,recurrent induced abortion rate and menstrual disorder were observed in both groups.Results:Vaginal bleeding duration after artificial abortion(7.0±2.3) d in Yasmin-treated group were all improved which have significant differences compared with control groups'(13.0±3.9) d,(P0.05).The rat of recurrent induced abortion and menstruation disorder(2.5%,2.5%) in Yasmin-treated group were all improved which have significant differences compared with control group respectively(20%,30%)(P0.05).Conclusion:Yasmin administrated after artificial abortion would be an effective measure to control induced abortion rate and prevent complications after abortion.
