Title: Study on Shaking Table Model Test of Soft Soil-Pile Foundation-Superstructure Interaction System
Abstract: In order to study the mechanism of Soil-Structure interaction by comparing the shaking table model test results of dynamic interaction system of soil and high structure with those of high structure on fixed base,the effects of Soil-Structure interaction(SSI)on dynamic characteristics and seismic responses are studied in this paper.Due to the effect of SSI,the natural frequency of the system in soft conditions is lower than that of structure on the fixed base and its damping ratio is higher than that of structure.When SSI is taken into consideration,the seismic responses such as acceleration and displacement are commonly lager than those of the structure on the fixed base.
