Title: Adances in Research on Low Temperature Fluidity of Blended Biodiesel
Abstract: The low temperature fluidity of biodiesel depends mainly on the branching degree, content and composition of the saturated fatty acid methyl esters. The pour point of biodiesel is generally about 0℃,and therefore its crystallization and gelling at low temperatures limits its applications in the winter. Thus, when being used as the fuel oil in diesels, biodiesel is generally blended with a petrified diesel in a certain ratio to form a blended fuel oil.the research on pour point-depressing of blended bio-diesel at low temperature was introduced both at home and abroad, and further the existing studies on pour point-depressing mechanisms of bio-diesel and relevant pour point depressants were discussed.
