Title: Stand structure of new Oligostachyum lubricum plantation and its succession
Abstract: The stand structure of new Oligostachyum lubricum plantations planted in the April 2008 and 2009 and its dynamics were studied. The results showed that the stand density, the diameter at breast height(DBH),the total height, and the under-branch height of the plantations were significantly increased with the increase of stand ages, while the relative total height and the relative under-branch height decreased significantly. This indicated that the new bamboo plantations were under the succession way to capture and utilize more resources. There was a quadratic relationship between the stand density and the stand ages,Y=4 037.5 t2+887.5 t+400(Radj2=0.843 8,F=52.32,P0.000 1),and the relationship between the total height, the under-branch height and the DBH of stand was presented as the linear equation TH=17.751 1 D+16.058 4(Radj2=0.586 4,F=374.34,P0.000 1),and the quadratic polynomial model BH=0.347 6 D2-2.534 D+41.861 6(Radj2=0.486 4,F=149.37,P0.000 1)respectively.
