Abstract:It has been investigated to use anodizing technology to improve the corrosion resistance of Mg-Li alloy.A white anodizing film with a certain corrosion resistance was obtained by using a kind of envir...It has been investigated to use anodizing technology to improve the corrosion resistance of Mg-Li alloy.A white anodizing film with a certain corrosion resistance was obtained by using a kind of environmentally friendly chrome-free alkaline electrolyte.The orthogonal test on optimal mass concentrations of three compositions in electrolyte solution was conducted;the results of SEM indicate that different morphologies are observed on the covered surface of various process treated samples;the results of polarization curves indicate that the optimized composition of electrolyte is 50 g/L NaOH,40 g/L Na_2SiO_3·9H_2O,30 g/L Na_2B_4O_7·10H_2O,40 g/L Na_3C_6H_5O_7·2H_2O.The XRD pattern and EDS show that the components of anodized film consist of MgO and MgCO_3.Read More
