Methods: 101 cases of refractory idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group accepted a small dose of rituximab treatment and the observation group in accordance with the patients' physical accepted TCM treatment on the bases of small doses of rituximab treatment. 3 months after treatment, the therapeutic effect and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: The observation group's total effective rate was 82% and in the control group it was72%. There was significant difference( P 0. 05). Adverse reactions in observation group was significantly less than that of the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Low-dose rituximab has a better clinical effect on refractory thrombocytopenic purpura and combination with Chinese treatment can improve the efficacy and reduce adverse reactions.Read More
