Title: Wang Wei's Buddhist accomplishment and poetic style
Abstract: The Buddhism impressed Wang Wei most deeply among the poets of the Tang Dynasty.The influence from his mother in his childhood and the repeated setbacks in his official career caused him immersed in Buddhism so as to get mental tranquility.His Buddhist accomplishment in self-cultivation was embodied in poem-writing with an unique form.This paper revealed the artistic form of Wang Wei's poems on the basis of narrating his career.Wang Wei was good at watching the nature with an empty and tranquil mood,so the empty realms with vigour and pure realms were unfolded.Besides,the Buddhist interests as feeling at home wherever one is were revealed in his poems.
