Title: Effects of Hg Stress on Seed Germination,Seedling Development and Physiological Characteristics of Soybean
Abstract: Taking soybean Qiandou 3 as experimental material, the effects of different concentrations of Hg on seed germination, seedling development and physiological characteristics of soybean were studied to explore the relationship of Hg with seed germination, seedling growth and physiological characteristics. Results: 1) The seed germination rate, seed vigor index, germination index and germination vigor decreased with increasing Hg concentration.2) The seed germination rate, seed vigor index, germination index and germination vigor decreased when Hg concentration ranging in 0~75 mg/L,and sharply declined when ranging in 75~150 mg/L.All soybean seeds died when Hg concentration was 200 mg/L.3) The activity of POD and PRO first increased and then decreased with Hg stress increasing.
