Title: Geological Features of Au, Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu and Co Ore Deposits and its Forming Conditions in the Eastern Region of Liaoning Province, China
Abstract: Liaodong rift system are characterized by the formation of Au, Ag, Pb, Zn, Cu and Co ore deposits, which located in different layers of Liaohe Group and dominate over other kinds of metallic ore deposits. The origin of these ore deposits can be divided into three categories at least: sedimentary-metamorphic origin, magmatic-hydrothermal origin and contact metasomatic origin. The formation of ore deposits is controlled by several factors as follow: primary ore-bearing strata, structures, magmatic activities and metamorphism. The existence of ore-bearing strata is the precondition for the formation of ore deposits. And structural and magmatic activities must be required in the course of formation of ore deposits. Ore-bearing strata reworked by structural and magmatic activities are the best places for the formation of ore deposits and for the ore prospecting.
