The results showed that fructose, glucose and starch contents decreased after treatment, but sucrose content increased. The key enzymes involving sucrose metabolism showed significant diurnal changes. The invertase and sucrose synthase activities in day were lower than those in night, but sucrose phosphate synthase activity increased immediately in night. Under sub-high temperature by day, invertase activity decreased, the sucrose synthase activity increased obviously and sucrose phosphat synthase activity increased slightly .Read More
