Title: Expression and significance of NF-κBp65 and IκB- α protein in tissues of cervical carcinoma
Abstract: Objective: To explore the expression and their significance of NF-κBp65、Iκ B-α Protein in tissues of cervical carcinoma, their corresponding cancer adjacent specimens and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). Methods: SP Immunohistochemistry method was performed to examine the expression of NFκ-Bp65 and IκB-α protein in 38 cases of cervical squamous carcinoma tissues,27 cases of cancer adjacent specimens,21 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Results: NFκ-Bp65 positive expression rate in cervical carcinomas tissues was significantly higher than that in their corresponding cancer adjacent specimens and CIN tissues whereas the expression of IκB-α was significantly lower in cervical carcinomas (P0.01). Conclusion: High expression of NFκ-Bp65 and low expression of IκB-α are significantly correlated with the occurrence of cervical carcinoma.
