Title: Study on Chemical Constituents of Amaranthus Spinosus
Abstract: Objective: To study the chemical constituents of amaranthus spinosus. Methods: The chemical constituents were isolated by silica gel column chromatography, Sephadex LH- 20 column chromatography,MCI and HPLC,and their chemical structures were elucidated by physicochemical properties and spectra data analysis. Results: Seven compounds were obtained and identified as oleanolic acid( 1); quercetin- 3- O- β- D- glucopyranoside( 2); 3'- methoxyl- quercetin- 3- O- β- D-glucopyranoside( 3); 3- methoxyl- quercetin- 3- O- α- L- rhamnose-( 1→2)- β- D-glucopyranoside( 4); Δ5,22stigmasterol( 5); β- sitosterol( 6); Δ5,22stigmasterol- 3- O- β- D-glucopyranoside( 7).
