Title: An Improved Network Congestion Control Algorithm and Its Simulated Realization
Abstract: The network congestion has become a bottleneck that restraints the network development and application.Studying how to effectively solve the congestion problem has a particular significance for improving the network performance.Through the analysis of a slow start in network congestion control algorithm and its problems,this paper presents an improved algorithm based on the historical connection parameters and token technology.The algorithm uses the historical connection parameters in the cache table to perform initialization for new connection to avoid the process of re-detecting the network bandwidth,reduces the transmission delay,and improves the performance of network congestion control.Finally,NS2 is used to perform simulated realization for this algorithm,which provides a solution for efficiently controlling network congestion.
