Abstract: Hand-swinging Dance originated from Western Hunans Tujia minority is an unique and ancient art form It deserves significant value of study because of its perfect conservation as well as its distinct, unique art features This paper focuses on the study of these features from the following three aspects: its dance, its song and its accompaniment This paper also intends to explore its cultural value through the next four angles: the value of academic study, ethnic mergence, evolutional regularities of art form and its preservative, communicative functions
